Essay 1-06 Review of the first episode of a American or British TV drama

I had watched a TV drama series. The name is Full House. Do you know this drama? Full House was broadcast in USA from 1987. It is very famous and popular in Japan too.

Full House is a comedy drama. This story's hero is Daniel Earnest Tanner. He is 29 years old. He is a newscaster. He lived in San Francisco with his wife named Pamela and three children, but Pamela died in a traffic accident. This drama is the story in which Daniel raises his three children. Two men help him. One person is Joseph. He is 29 years old. He is a comedian and a best friend of Daniel. Another person is Jesse who is Pamela's younger brother. He is 24 years old. He is a musician. Joseph and Jesse lives with the Tanner's family.

My favorite characters are Daniel's three daughters. The eldest daughter is Donna Joe. She is called D.J. She is smart and takes good care of her younger sisters. The second daughter is Stephanie. Her nickname is Steph. She is cheerful and talkative. The third daughter is Michelle. She is wild and a little selfish. She is doted on by Jesse. They are naughty and play many tricks. They are very cute. They are on very good terms.

I like this drama's voice actors for Japanese dubbing. Especially, my favorite voice actor is Houchuu Ootsuka. He is very famous, because he appears in various movies by dubbing. His voice is low and cool.

I remember many wise saying in this drama, because the characters have a favorite phrase respectively. There are also many impressive wise sayings as well as that. I think that those words put modulation on the atmosphere which is comedy. The drama's audiences can knows how long they are loving the three daughters. I think that it is one of this drama's charm too.

Essay 1-05 Best days in my life

The best days in my life were in March this year. I went to Osaka with the friends of my part-time job. When I lived in the east ward, I worked a part-time job at McDonald near my house. There were a lot of older people there. But they are kind and friendly.

Our travel’s member is 5. Takaaki is two years older than me. He is the perso whoproposed this travel. He and I had belonged to the same club in KGU. Yuka is two years older than me and she was a student of KGU too. She made arrangements for the tickets of this travel. Shigeru is three years older than me. He was a student of the Prefectural University of Kumamoto. He is a mood maker and cheerful. Erika is two years younger than me, but she does not go to university. Though only she is younger, everyone is on good terms with her because she works a part-time job longer than me at McDonald.

We stayed in Osaka for 3 days. The first day, we gathered in Kumamoto station at 6 o’ clock. We went to Osaka by Shinkansen. We played cards in Shinkansen. After we arrived in Osaka, we went to the aquarium named Kaiyuukan after the baggage was put at the hotel in Umeda. Kaiyuukan is famous because there is a whale shark. The whale shark which swims in a big water tank gracefully is very beautiful. We went to eat deep-fried kabobs in the evening. When we stopped at Umeda station on the way to hotel, Takaaki bought cream buns for us. Do you know a cream bun made by Hattendou? Hattendou’s cream bun is famous and delicious!

The second day, we went to Universal Studio Japan. They were eager to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter from before. I had been there once, but I wanted go there again. We went to there and lined up an attraction named Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey. This is an attraction which can give the experience as if you were flying in the airl using 3-D picture. It is very exciting! After, we bought souvenirs and ate lunch in this area. I ate fish and chips. It was delicious. We went out the area in the afternoon. We went to the area named Cool Japan. Cool Japan is a project open for a limited time. There are also attractions to which 4 famous works made in Japan were introduced worldwide. It is Monster Hunter, Attack on Titan, Neon Genesis EVANGELION and BIOHAZARD. We wanted to go to Cool Japan’s area too. We lined up and rode EVA’s attraction. Next, we went to Space Fantasy the Ride. This is the attraction that Takaaki recommended. After, we went out of USJ. We stopped at an udon restaurant and ate dinner on the way to hotel.

The last day, we went to USJ again. First, we went to the Back ｔo the Future the Ride. I rode it the first time. I took a photo of the De Lorean. Next, we went to Spider Ｍan's attraction. Erika and I liked it. We were frolicking. In the afternoon, Takaaki, Yuka and Shigeru went to BIOHAZARD's attraction. So Erika and I went to the Terminator's attraction. After, we went to ride De Lorean again. We joined them in the evening. We bought many souvenirs and went out USJ. We rode the Shinkansen. I talked about rakugo with Shigeru. We arrived at Kumamoto Station and broke up immediately because we were very tired.

This travel is my best memory.

Essay 1-04 My self introduction 2035

So I am 40 years old and I am married. The marriage partner is my friend when we were college students. His name is Kazuma. His job is official servant. His hobby is playing bass. We have one son and one daughter. My son's name is Kenma. He is 10 years old. He likes playing soccer and guitar. My daughter's name is Saori. She is 12 years old. She likes playing piano. They go to elementary school. They are on very good term.

My job is novelist. So I am usually writing a novel at our house. I write fantasy novels. I publish three novels of the series called Magic girl. My novel did not become popular so much. But I am not worrying about it. I write a novel of my new series now. My family says that they like my novels.

My hobby is listening to music and making food. Kenma and Saori like music. They like to listening bass played by their father too. Kenma learn to play the guitar from his father.

They like the dishes I make. Kenma's favorite food is curry and hamburger steak. Saori's favorite food is spaghetti and stew. But they have a lot of likes and dislikes. Kenma does not like green peppers and tomatoes. Saori does not like mushrooms and spinach. When Kazuma and I say to them that they are not supposed to have likes and dislikes, they eat it reluctantly. So when I am very hard with work, Kazuma makes us meals. He is very kind.

We often spend the time of weekend together. Kazuma and Kenma goes to park near our house. They play soccer. Saori and I makes sweets. She is good at make it. We are living happily every day.

Essay 1-03 My hometown

My hometown is Kawachi. Kawachi is a small town and it is the west ward. I live in Kawachi of Kawachi town. Kawachi town is surrounded by Kinpou Mountain and sea. So the air is fresh and pure. If you come Kawachi, you can watch the beautiful stars. I like to watch the stars.

Do you know specialties of Kawachi town? It is oranges because sea breeze is necessary to make oranges. My grandfather was making oranges too. Kawachi town is full of fragrance of the orange's flower in early summer. The whole town becomes orange in autumn. The view is very beautiful. Most people who live in this town are farmers and fisherman. So we can buy fresh vegetables and fish in town. What is more, their price is cheap.

Bad points, there is many bug in this town. I have a dog. I walk with him every day. I am often stuck into a mosquito. My mother and sister do not like bugs. So when a bug goes out in our house, we are in an sn uproar.

Kawachi town is in Kumamoto city, but it is far from the center of the city. I go to school by car and bus. My mother's workplace is in center of the city too. So she drives me to Kumamoto Station every morning. After that, I take a bus and go to school. When I go to home, I use the same means. It takes one hour for movement. So I wake up early. I wake up at seven o'clock every morning. Kawachi town's transportation is bad. I want a motor scooter because I have a driver's license.
I and my family moved at my grandmother's house in Kawachi town two months ago. We are not often familiar with it, but we are living happily every day.

Essay 1-02 My treasure

My treasure is my albums and pictures. I have many albums and pictures because my father likes taking pictures. I and my family moved to my grandmother's house last week. When I was picking one for the move, I found a lot of albums. Those were the albums with pictures of my childhood time has filed. I also found a lot of pictures which have not been filed in albums yet. When I found them, I was very happy.

After that, I found many pictures in my baggage too. There was a picture taken with my grandfather and cousins in those. My grandfather's job is a farmer. He was mainly growing oranges and persimmons. But he was also making other crops as his hobby. I was surprised when I knew that my grandfather was making peaches, watermelons and mushrooms as his hobby. So my cousins and I helped to pick oranges in winter and helped to pick choice persimmons in autumn when I was an elementary school student. We always went out from morning and worked by the field all the while until the evening. I remember that I ate a box lunch my grandmother made at noon and frolicked. I found many pictures of that time and felt dearly because my grandfather has passed away so the reasone we gather to help has disappeared. I liked the taste of his oranges. It is never possible to eat his orange any more, but I thought I would like to pick oranges with my cousins again.

Now, my grandmother is growing vegetables in a small field in the back of her house. She growing onions, eggplants, cucumbers and lemons. When I helped to pick lemons, I found a tree of cherry blossom. The tree is my grandfather's. I decide to take care of that tree.

Hello! My name is Saya. Please call me Saya. I live in Kumamoto. I am a KGU student. I am from Kumamoto. Do you know Kumamoto?

Kumamoto has many natural places. Mount Aso is very famous. Kumamoto Castle is famous too. My favorite place in Kumamoto is Cape Otachi. Cape Otachi’s sea is very beautiful. I saw a wedding at the beach when I visited there before. It was very romantic!

By the way, I am looking forward to going the United Kingdom. I would like to do two things in the UK. At first, my hobby is listening to music. My favorite artist is the Beatles! Especially, my favorite song is Yellow submarine. My mother likes the Beatles too. I put on CDs of the Beatles all the time when I go out with my mother by car. I want to go to Liverpool where John Lennon was born and Westminster which is famous for Abbey Road. Do you like the Beatles? If you like them, please guide me to places associated with the Beatles. We will talk about the Beatles!

Another, I want to see Big Ben. That is also one of my dreams. Do you have a recommended place? If you have one, please guide me there. Please tell me about the UK and I will tell you about Japan.
