BR 1-10 The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn

You don't know about me without you have read a book by the name of The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, but that ain't no matter.(p.5)

This book is spin-off of The Adventure of Tom Sawyer. Huckleberry Finn is called Huck. He is a best friend of Tom. Huck and Tom had much money in The Adventure of Tom Sawyer. The start scene of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is that Huck’s father appeared him. His father was after Huck’s money. Huck is nearly killed by his father, but he caught off guard and run away. After, he met a black man named Jim. Jim is a slave. He runs away too. He wants to go somewhere far away and liberated from slave. Huck decides to go an adventure into an unknown world by cooperating with Jim.

I take a class named The history of American literature. We read and solve many famous books in the class every week. When I read it the first time, I surprised that Huck is very cunning. He does not hesitate to tell lies and steal. He rescues Jim who is a black slave. Hack acts the behavior which is not considered at that time. Huck and Jim tied by a strong friendship beyond the each race. This book is very nice. I was moved.
