BR 2-09 Washington Square

"Mr Townsend is very handsome!" Catherine thought. (p.12)

This story's hero is Austin Sloper. He is a rich and clever man. He is a doctor too. He has a daughter named Catherine. She does not look pretty, but she is a kind person.

When she is 21 years old, she meets a man. His name is Morris Townsend. He has an interested in her. They fall in love, but Austin opposes to her marrying. He thought that Morris is after her fortune. Morris contradicted it. Catherine say that she may abandon her inheritance. How does their love turn out?

When I finished to read it, I thought that love is complex.
