Movie Review 6 Baymax

I will try to introduce a movie. It is called Baymax. The movie was produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. I watched it recently so I want to write about it.

The hero is a boy. His name is Hiro Hamada. He is 14 years old and a genius of robot engineering, but he is living a self-indulgent life. He had graduated from high school because he skipped a grade. he has no interest in university. He is absorbed in the robot fight, but robot fights are illegal. He uses his ability for a robot fight. He has an elder brother. The brother's name is Tadashi Hamada. He goes to university. He is the only person who understands Hiro.
They live in San Fransokyo with their aunt named Cass. Their parents had already died when Hiro was three years old.

One day, Hiro goes to Tadashi's university and meets his friends and a professor. The professor's name is Robert Callaghan. He is a leading figure in robot engineering. Hiro wants to study with him.
He must to make an original presantation because he wants to be recognized from the professor. So Hiro invites microbots!
Microbots are very small. Their size like the size of finger-tips. But the characteristic of microbots is that they gather together and form an aggregate with each other. The operator can control them when the operator is wearing a nerve trasmitter on head so microbots form the shape of the operator's own way. It is a revolutionary invention. Hiro is admitted to the school.
But, just after that, a fire breaks out in the hall. Hiro lost Tadashi, Professor Callaghan and microbots at that time. Hiro closes his heart to others.

One day, he finds a microbot and meets Baymax. Baymax is a robot made by Tadashi. Baymax has a mission of cure injured persons and heal psychological wounds. Baymax tries to heal Hiro's pain.

After that, they find a warehouse. They know that a large number of microbots are made there. So Hiro infers that someone caused the fire because someone wanted to steal his microbots. He decides to find out the truth of the case with Tadashi's friends and Baymax. They confront evil with the power of chemistry.

It is a very exciting and heartwarming story. I want to meet Baymax.

Movie Review 5 Toy Story

Toy Story was showed 1995. It is my birth year too.

This story is about toys. A hero is a cowboy doll. His name is Woody. A boy named Andy has him. Andy likes him the most of his toys. Their leader is Woody.

One day, Woody has a fear. Today is Andy's birthday. His toys that he will get a new toy. Woody thinks that the new toy may become his favorite too. His foresight proved right. Andy gets a new toy named Buzz Lightyear. Buzz is a popular toy. Andy and his toys likes him very much, but Woody does not like him. So Woody tries to play a prank on Buzz, but he accidentally pushes Buzz off the window.

After that, Andy goes out with Woody. Woody is divided from Andy because he wants to look for Buzz. Woody could find him, but he was left behind. Woody and Buzz strive to return to Andy, but they are caught by Sid Phillips. Sid is Andy's neighbor. He is famous because he handles his toys cruelly. Woody asks his friends for help from the window of Sid's room, but they refuses it. So he punishes Sid with Buzz and Sid's toys.

Do you know Toy Story MANIA? It is an attraction in Tokyo Disney Sea. This attraction is a shooting game. The passengers can feel like seeming to have been a toy at all because something in the distance to the start spot is big. Please go and ride it once.

Movie Review 4 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

This movie is popular and famous. I had watched it, but I did not remember the movie's story.

The hero is Indiana Jones. He is an archaeologist and an adventure.
In 1935, Indiana is in Shinghai because he wants to trade with gang. But the trade goes wrong. He escapes with a woman and a boy.
The woman's name is Willie Scott. She is a singer of a nightclub. She works in Shanghai. She get caught up in the trade.
The boy's name is Short Round. He was a war orphan. He was picked up by Indiana before, so he is an Indiana's partner now.

After that, they reach Indiana and met an old man. They are guided to a village where he lives in. A well is dried up in the village. There were no children too. A group from an evil religion stole the children and a sacred stone. Indiana is asked that he saves the children. Indiana decided to go to Pankot Palace.

People who live in Pankot Palace are believers in Thuggee. The priest of Thuggee is Mola Ram. He sacrifices a heart of God. The God is Kali. Indiana finds three sacred stones named Sankara stones from the altar. Indiana finds the children too. Children were made to work in the mine. There are five stones in total. So Mola Ram wants two remaining stones.

I like the scene where they run away by truck. It is a very impressive scene.

Do you know that there is an attraction of Indiana Jones in Tokyo Disney Sea? It is Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull. The passengers can experience Indiana's adventure. It is an adventure in search of a spring of the youth. The passengers can meet Indiana Jones too! You should go there if you like this movie. You may have a splendid experience if you go there.

Movie Review 3 Romeo+Juliet

The original of this movie is a play by Shakespeare. It is very famous. Of course, I know it. But I watch the movie for the first time.

The movie's set is Verona Beach in Brazil. This place is fictitious. A hero named Romeo ia a son of the Montague family. He loved a woman but he had his heart broken.
One day, his friend named Mercutio told him that the woman named Rosaline participated in a party. So Romeo promises to go to there. The party is a costume dance party. It is held by Capulet family.
Montague family is the Mafia. Capulet family is a mafia family too. Both families fought against each other.

Romeo had a dream on the day at night. He told by someone that he can meet his destiny but the love is ominous.
Next day, Romeo dresses up as a knight and go to the party with Mercutio. So Romeo meets a woman. She is named Juliet. Juliet is a daurhter of the Capulets. Her mother wants to make Juliet marry a man named Paris, but she hates him. She wants to marry a man whom she loves. Romeo and Juliet fell in love at first sight each other. After that, they know that each other is an enemy, but they decide to marry.

But her parents tries to make Juliet marry Paris. She tries to paersuade them, but it fails. She is troubled and talks with a father named Lawrence. He hands a mysterious medicine to her. It is a medicine which can make a human being be in a state of apparent death. She drank it before her wedding celemoney on the day and waited for Romeo to come to pick her up. But he misunerstands that she died. He commits suicide. After that, she woke up. Her boyfriends is already dead. She committed suicide too.

The showy action scene wins through up to my impression. I want to meet my destined person.

Movie Review 2 Cool Hand Luke

The original of this movie is a novel. This novel is written by Donn Pearce. He has experience living in a prison. It is said that his experience at that time became the motif of this story.

The story’s hero is Luke Jackson. He was a soldier in the old days. One day, he breaks parking meter because he got drunk on liquor. He is charged with a crime of the instrument damage. He was ordered to undergo 2 year penal servitude at a prison of Florida. The prison was influenced by an air full of a feeling of hatred. The work of Luke was hard labor such as mowing and excavation under the hot weather, but he was shrewd. He took an impudent attitude unlike other new prisoners. He thought that he would not succumb to the rule of guards. His attitude won antipathy from the other people. Especially, Dragline did not like it. Dragline is a boss of the prisoners. They have a boxing match. As a result, Luke did not give up to Dragline and became a new boss.

After that, he finds out that his mother is died. He was surprised and shed tears. So he decided to break out of the prison. He did it three days later. He escaped earnestly, but he was caught. He did not give up. He breaks out of the prison again! He sends a letter to Dragline. Prisoners know it and feel envy towards Luke, but they were not angry with him. Luke was hope of prisoners, but he was caught again. He did not give up even it. He broke out of the prison again. He escaped with Dragline, but they break up on the way. They went ahead through another way. Luke went to a church and asked God what to do. Dragline appeared there. He had been chased by the police. He persuades Luke to come back to the prison, but a policeman appeared and shot Luke. He refused medical treatment and died.

I was surprised at tenaciousness of Luke. I think that he was very noble.

Movie Review 1 Glee

I watched Glee for the first time. I had known this name only.

          

Will Schuster is a teacher of William McKinley high school. He teaches Spanish. He was a student of this school. He is in charge of the glee club because he belonged to the club. He was a star in the club! But the glee club’s past glory had disappeared, so Will started a new glee club named “New Directions!”. Five students gathered. Rachel Berry, Mercedes Jones, Kurt Hummel, Artie Abrams and Tina Cohen-Chang tried out for the club. After that, Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray belong to the club. Finn is the quarterback of the football team but Will persuade Finn to join the glee club. Quinn is a cheerleader. She is a captain of the club. She belongs to the glee club because she acts as a spy. The advisor of the cheerleading club is Sue Sylvester. She schemes to abolish the glee club because she is after the club’s budget. Sue harasses them. Will and the club’s member withstand it and have pulled together as one.

I like music. I belonged to a chorus club when I was an elementary school student. This movie brought back my memory of the club.

I transferred when I was in the fifth grade. I decided to join to chorus club because I like to sing a song. I was uneasy, but the club's members warmly welcomed me. I was very happy in it. I could meet precious friends.

Our club took part in a chorus meeting every summer. The rule is that a team sings two songs, assigned piece and free music. Dynamism was not enough in our song because there were few people in our club. We practiced a lot to be able to give loud voice.

We could not win, but we were satisfied by having been able to show a convincing performance.
