BR 1-12 The Lost World

These animals were very large and unusual. Nobody had ever seen them before. (p.9)

This story’s hero is a man. His name is Edward Malone. In 1912, he is 23 years old. He is a reporter for a newspaper named Daily Gazette. His job is to find out about things that had happened and write about them.
One day, Edward says to Mr McArdle that I want to ask you something. Mr McArdle is a boss at the Daily Gazette. He wants to go an adventure and write that things. Mr McArdle is allowed to go. So he says, “Have you heard Professor Challenger?” Edward does not know much about him. Professor Challenger is a zoologist. Two years ago, he went to South America and found some wonderful animals. But many people do not believe it. Mr McArdle orders Edward to interview him.

This story is about adventure of Edward and Professor Challenger. Is it true that Professor Challenger was talking about? This story is very interesting!
